The Latin-Centered Curriculum

I have had many inquiries about my forthcoming book, Memory Work, which is mentioned several times in the new edition of The Latin-Centered Curriculum. The manuscript is in the hands of the publishers, but no publication date has yet been set. I will post here as soon as I have more information; thank you for your interest!

A German television show, Kulturzeit Extra, has broadcast an entire program in Latin. You can view the whole thing, complete with German subtitles, here (click "Sendung"). Segments include a discussion of the Union for the Mediterranean, an interview with author Robert Harris (in which he discusses Barack Obama's rhetorical skills), a visit to Vatican City, and a Latin music video by German pop group "ista."

The authors of Classical Writing are pleased to announce that Kathy Weitz will be offering online tutorials for middle and high schoolers this fall using the Diogenes books. Our purpose is to assist the home educating parent in providing writing instruction for middle school to high school students. These tutorials are structured both for students who have completed the Foundations levels of Classical Writing and also for middle and high school students who are new to Classical Writing and who need to complete the Foundations and Intermediate levels in one school year. My son wanted to read a book recently that I thought was too violent; his response to me was that the Odyssey that I has him read last year was waaaay more violent than this book?
I'm not sure how to answer this?

I did some research but could only find what I already have from LCII (the puzzle book to go along with that...)
The kids' lessons were greatly enhanced with those puzzles. So I would love to supplement their first year of Henle with puzzles. It makes all the difference at their ages (10, 8, 6).

I will be starting to use the Artner's guide this fall. We just about finished SOTW series and we are used the maps and coloring pages! I think we will be ok finding books to go witht he guide..but there are no suggestions where to find maps for each unit. Before I go on and do research on-line, has anyone got any ideas or great sites to check out?
