Math question
I hope I'm not monopolizing this space with all my questions! Thanks to all for your great help.
Drew, I notice that you recommend Rod and Staff math in the Latin-Centered Curriculum. Could you tell me more about the merits of this curriculum? We have been using Math-U-See because it explains math concepts in such a wonderful way, far better than I can myself. I am happy with MUS because I think it helps my son see the "why," but he is still having difficulties with simple arithmetical operations. I'm not sure if he is not being careful, or if he doesn't know his math facts well enough yet. Would Rod and Staff be a good supplement for adding and subtracting drill? We used a computer drill program, but I think it makes my son nervous, and it might be better for him to practice his facts on paper. Thanks!

It allows you to make worksheets for extra drill practice, and you can choose the starting lesson and the ending lesson so that you can either focus on a problem area or just include general drill over everything learned so far.
