I need some help with an article about death.
What I would like to do is write an article about the consequences of purging all mention of death in children's school curriculum and reading material. If children are not made to face their own mortality or the mortality of others, and if all their reading material is about how to save their allowance to buy a new puppy dog etc., what will happen to them? I need to do some more research before I put pen to paper though. Does anyone know any good books that might address this topic? It probably stems from the broader topic of teaching children the things that are good, beautiful, and true. I would like to keep a narrow focus in this article and address the teaching of matters of life and death.
