Suggestions for multiple ages?
Anybody have any suggestions on how to incorporate English, modern, Christian, classical studies into a multi-age format? I am just switching over to LCC from neoclassical and am very much relieved with having fewer "subjects" and more depth, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has a good daily or weekly schedule/plan on how to adapt the schedules from the book to different ages simultaneously? As in, we're all studying Shakespeare (for example) but on different levels, that kind of thing. I have a 3rd grader, kindergardener, 3 yr old, 1 year old, one on the way. Streamlining is a must right now! Thanks!

Perhaps
Perhaps just expecting different things from them. For instance, with English, it seems to me that you might well be able to read the same story, and the 3rd and K would be able to get it, the 3yo maybe and the 1 yo can play :)
The texts used for the 3rd graders can easily be adapted for using with K too... just ask for something different in the way of a narration. K can illustrate and narrate a small paragraph and 3rd can write a little themselves.
Also Drew addresses English at multiple levels in a post on this forum somewhere...
