Where Is Everybody?
I am a bit new to doing LCC and am excited and enjoying it. I was really excited to discover the forums a few weeks ago, but . . .
where is everyone? I was hoping that after Christmas that I would find some new entries to read. How is everyone doing? Are you all just busy, in the throes of teaching? I guess I am just hoping that the lack of postings isn't a sign that people are dropping the approach, because I am just starting!
Well, I'd love to hear what any of you would have to write.
Thanks,
Sandi
I'm here reading...... but
I'm here reading...... but not posting. I am still following the method, but to be perfectly honest (bad habit of mine).... I just don't feel like I am qualified to have an intelligent opinion on this or other Classical sites....... oddly enough though, I do feel qualified to teach this approach to my kids. Go figure.
Bibbity-bobbity-boo!
I'm with you
I bought the book last year when it first came out, but didn't have any real questions because we were still in the Primary stage. Now that my oldest son is moving into the Grammar stage, I had to seek out some answers. When I first looked at the forums, I thought it was odd that there wasn't much recent activity. but there is a lot of good stuff in those older posts. And all of my questions have been answered, so I appreciate that. I hope I'll have more to contribute in the way of answers when I get some experience under my belt.

I'm new here...
And I think the lack of posting activity is a credit to three things:
1) The amount of time the folks here are actually spending instructing their kids.
2) The quality of the answers provided to the questions initially posed.
3) I'm going out on a limb here since I haven't read LCC, but I suspect the clarity of LCC is the third thing.
I could be way off base, but that's my gut reaction from the last few days of lurking around here while deciding whether or not to register.
There's much more conversation...
on the LatinClassicalEd list. :-)

Thanks, Drew.
I've about exhausted the archives. :)
Sadly, I can't access the Yahoo group from my office computer, but I'll make sure to get plugged in to the list once I get home.

Posts seem to come in waves...
I know people are logging in and reading, though.
