Progym questions
I started using LCC this past year with my 1st and 2nd grade boys and have loved it. Now that my oldest son will soon be starting the grammar stage, I have a few questions...
In terms of the progym... I was completely unfamiliar with this before I read about it in LCC. I'm very excited about it in theory, but I'm confused about the details. I have examined each website (CC and CW) in detail, and I'm leaning towards CW. However, I'm under the impression that the progym study is supposed to be wrapped up by the 8th grade, and I'm not clear on the timeline of how one gets through all 13 exercises in 6 years. My guess is that we'd cover more than one a year, but I don't see that in CW's schedule. In fact, it looks like they take 2 years just to cover fables. What am I missing here? Can someone help me out?
Thanks.

Rather than...
risk giving you incorrect information about CW, here's a link to their forum: Classical Writing Message Boards. I think that their program is meant to continue through high school. The scheduling suggestions I made in LCC are geared to Classical Composition, so you would probably need to adjust for CW.
