Board Rules - Please Read Before Posting!

To keep the conversation here pleasant and useful, we've set up some simple posting guidelines. Please read them carefully and keep them in mind as you post. Thanks for you cooperation and enjoy your time on the boards!
- Please keep all communication civil. No personal attacks, "flames," or harassment will be tolerated.
- Please keep language and subject matter G-rated, as some of us have children who may be reading over our shoulders.
- Although it's safe to assume that everyone here has at least some interest in homeschooling and Latin-centered classical education, please do not assume that other members necessarily share your religious beliefs, political perspective, parenting philosophy, or favorite baseball team. Ask, don't assume.
- This is not a secular forum - religious talk is welcome - but please do not proselytize or engage in theological debates here. It is helpful to note in your subject line if your post contains specific religious content that may not be of interest to everyone.
- Likewise, please do not use the boards as a launching pad for debates on controversial subjects, such as war, abortion, spanking, circumcision, vaccines, etc. We all like a good argument, but there are other places for that.
- If you have a business or web site you want to promote, you may put that information in your signature, but please do not use the boards for other advertising without express prior approval from the Admins. (Click "Contact Us" in the upper right hand corner to send email.) We do not have a sale-and-swap board at this time.
- You already know this, but: Engaging in or promoting illegal conduct on the boards will result in banning. This includes spamming. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement should such a thing become necessary.
- The management reserves the right to amend, apply, and interpret these rules as necessary.
