* Enrolling my oldest dd in an Oxford Latin class, and my younger dd in a Minimus Secundus class! My degree is in classical archaeology, so I've got the ability, but not the patience to teach Latin to my kids. I make things WAY more complicated than I should, which frustrates us all. *sigh* I was so close to just dropping Latin, but handing it off to someone else has made it workable. Now I just drive them nuts when they're working on their homework... ;)
* Reading The Illiad with my 6th grader! It's more satisfying and fun than I'd have guessed, and it's quickly becoming our favorite "subject." Very cool! She read the Coolidge book first and thoroughly enjoyed that too.
