Anyone here from Middle TN?
Hi! My name is Marita Crozier and I live in Middle TN. I was wondering if there was anyone on this forum who is from this area...I have three children that I am home educating: Tessa (9), Ethan(6) and Ryan (4). I have mostly been following the Well-Trained Mind, but picked up LCC when I was ordering the Prima Latina DVDs because I thought it sounded interesting. I stayed up all night Friday night reading it. I loved it, but it's a little overwhelming to think of changing my whole approach. An approach that I considered to be very devoted to. I just spent a big wad of cash on new HSing materials and now want to buy a ton more! I am still trying to wrap my brain around it all. I need to re-read it and take down notes, but my husband confiscated my copy when he went out of town yesterday! I did write down as many websites that were mentioned as I could and bookmarked them. I think it would be helpful to have a section for links on this site.
I look forward to reading everyone's posts and all the good advice on getting started with this home educating philosophy.
