New member - hello!
Hi,
Guess I forgot to introduce myself last week when I signed in.
I am homeschooling 4 (now 3, actually - my son graduated in May and is going off to college in a few weeks). I have a son starting grade 4, daughter grade 8, and daughter grade 11. We've been homeschooling a la WTM for about 5 years, but Latin seems to have fallen by the wayside for us.
After more reading on the subject (I just started LCC 2 nights ago), I am leaning more and more to this style of educating my younger 2 children. I'm hoping to learn from those of you who have been doing this for awhile now.
I'm still having doubts about dropping some of the subjects we've included in our studies over the years, and about not covering others more in depth, as we had been doing. It's difficult to change course in midstream, but from all I have read and learned, it seems so sensible to go the LCC route!
