Book writing -- need help.
My book will be about how to get a Latin Centered Self-Education. It would be like LCC, except it's geared toward people who have already graduated high school. It would not only be a "how-to" but a "why-to". I imagine it will be somewhat like The Well-Educated Mind, except for a traditional classical education, as opposed to a neoclassical education.
My question for everyone is this: Imagine that this book answered all of your questions about getting a latin-centered self-education. What are those questions you want answered? Potential topics/questions include:
* Time management
* What to learn
* Helpful resources
However, I'm sure that there are many questions I haven't even thought about yet. So, I'm asking my potential audience about what questions you want answered.
Thank you for all of your help.
Great idea!
That's a great idea! I have a Yahoo group in mind already. Time to request some interviews!
Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Seeking a Latin Centered Self-Education.

I would want to hear some
I would want to hear some pretty strong testimonies from those who have actually done this--learned Latin as an adult. I'd like to hear how this enriched someone's life or deepened their understanding about something. I'd be interested in both modern testimonies and accounts from the past where someone learned Latin as adult (well enough to actually read in Latin).
As an adult, I learned an inflected foreign language, and it was a HUGE leap of understanding from syntactic English to an inflected language. I struggled for a long, long time to grasp the manner in which sentences were constructed, and I had the motivation of needing to communicate. I think some glowing testimonials would be needed to motivate adults to make that leap for Latin.
Good luck on your book!
