Repeat LC1 or go on to LC2??
My daughters have done PL 2 years ago and then LC1 this past year in a co-op setting. They are 10 and 8. They did pretty well with the vocab. but did not get the forms down cold. This fall they will be at home for latin. Should I repeat LC1 since they didn't completely master it or go on to LC2 but perhaps at a slower pace?
Thanks so much!
Martha
What did you do?
I am interested in what you decided to do about moving on in Latin. I would have urged you to go on and review heavly in the first five chapters. I myself will be working on spelling for those chapters as we ease into the transition from LCI to II. From looking at it and maping out our coarce I see a great deal more work for this year. I wonder how those who start young do with this.

You could just
review the forms before moving on. Do you have the LC I pronunciation CD? I find that listening to that helps my dd retain both forms and vocabulary. I also ask her to write out the forms using the drill sheets.
