Short introduction

I'm not sure how much I'll be participating on this forum, as I am not a "Latin-centered" homeschooler, but I am deeply interested in classical education as such. I have four children, ages 15, 12, 9, and 2, all homeschooled from birth. I have a particular preference for the educational methods of Charlotte Mason, and I have read all of her books, as well as Norm&Nobility, Climbing Parnassus, Poetic Knowledge, and a host of original sources on education, from Quintilian to Erasmus to Elyot. I've read Dorothy Sayers and TWTM, too, but I don't consider NCE to be a part of the classical tradition, as the Trivium was never about stages, but rather subjects.

Our family lives in Krakow, Poland, and except for the 2yo, we all speak Polish.

My blog, which is not homeschool-focused, but more about the books I read and living in Poland in general: http://ukrakovianki.blogspot.com/

WELCOME!

I love the CM books too... if you are a member of any Cm groups, you've probably seen me around ;) I like LCE because I can figure in many of CM's ideas into it!

And as for reading books and blogging it... many of us do the same ;) Nice to 'meet' you :)
